Admission Procedure

Eligibility for Admission

The candidate seeking admission into B.Tech should have passed Intermediate level exam and secured 50% aggregate marks or equivalent examination from a recognized University with Mathematics as one of the subjects. Admissions are on the basis of merit in common entrance test (EAPCET).

Category B Seats

The institutions that are approved by All India Council for Technical Education and permitted to fill NRI seats not exceeding 15% of the sanctioned intake in each course for the academic year shall admit NRI candidates (sons and daughters of NRIs) who have passed the qualifying examination with not less than 50% marks in the prescribed group subjects or 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination or Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) equivalent to 5 on a scale of 10.

The remaining seats shall be filled on merit basis with candidates including from other States and Union territories who have secured rank at JEE and secured not less than 45% of marks in the prescribed group subjects in the qualifying examination.

The seats remaining unfilled from (ii) and (iii) above, shall be filled with eligible candidates, who have qualified in the EAMCET examination on merit basis following eligibility criteria.

Thereafter, if any seats still remain unfilled, such seats may be filled on merit basis with candidates securing not less than 45% (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories) of marks in the prescribed group subjects taken together / aggregate marks in the qualifying examination, as prescribed.

Duration

The duration of the course is 4 years (Semester System). Intake is 60 students per batch including 42 under convener quota ( A category), 18 seats under (B category) management quota.

Either A category (or) B Category the student has to fill college application.

Documents to be submitted for 'A' Category Admission

  • 1. EAMCET Rank card.
  • 2. EAMCET Hall ticket.
  • 3. Allotment Order.
  • 4. All Certificates each 2 Xerox Copies.
  • 5. 4-Passport size Photographs.

Documents to be submitted for 'B' Category Admission

  • 1. All academic certificates from 10th & Intermediate (Original Certificates) each 2 Xerox Copies.
  • 2. Nativity, Income Certificate (latest).
  • 3. Cast Certificate (In case of reservation category).
  • 4. Transfer certificate (TC), Study and Conduct certificate.
  • 5. Migration certificate (In case of Other University).
  • 6. 4-Passport size Photographs.

Scholarship

1. Beneficiaries of the Scheme

Eligible Student : The students under the following categories are eligible for availing the Scheme.

  • All the students, pursing Polytechnic, ITI and Degree & above level courses in Government / Aided / Private colleges, affiliated to State Universities / Boards.
  • Day Scholar students, students in College Attached Hostels (CAH) and Department Attached Hostels (DAH).
  • 75% of the aggregate attendance is mandatory for release of scholarships.

2. Income Eligibility

  • The total family annual income to be less than or equal to Rs.2.50 lakhs.
  • The total land holding of the family to be less than 10.00 acres of wet or 25.00 acres of dry or 25.00 acres both wet and dry land together.
  • No member of the family should be a government employee / pensioner (all sanitary workers irrespective of their salary / recruitment, are eligible. The Social Welfare Department shall develop a robust & faal-proof system of certification of parents of the beneficiaries under category of "Sanitary workers").
  • No member of the family should own a four-wheeler (Taxies / Tractors / Autos are exempted).
  • A family who owns no property or less than 1500 Sft of built up area (Residential or Commercial) in urban areas is eligible.
  • No member of the family should be an income tax payee.
